fear-lesscan help
Being terrified of public speaking can be crippling. It causes stress and anxiety and avoidance behaviour. Learning to manage this fear can open new opportunities in your professional and private life. Fortunately, this is relatively easy if you have the right support.
While panic is distressing we are not trying to eliminate your fear. Nervousness is normal and natural and can even help you perform better if it does not overwhelm you.
Fear-less offers eight-week evening courses in central Auckland with a small group of people who feel the same way as you. You will learn to speak in front of an audience gradually, at your own pace. Fear-less also offers one-on-one mentoring for people who have completed the course and would like ongoing support.
When we PANIC our speaking performance is undermined by fear, we feel anxious, highly apprehensive, self-critical and dread the event. Your typical “Fight flight freeze mode”.
Our TARGET ZONE is often where we perform the best. We may have nervous butterflies, but we are self-aware, composed, feeling confident and engaged.
When we are too RELAXED we may appear offhand, laid back and too casual. This is not ideal for engaging an audience.
